With all the things happening in the world right now, most of us are spending more time at home. It can seem difficult to keep up with a good lifestyle when your gym in Denver is closed.

You could have found yourself becoming the educator, home cook, and parent in your house. Perhaps you are working from home for the time being and hoping to set up some organization throughout the day.

Through the course of these unpredictable times, it can be appealing to head to the couch, watching the news and mindless shows, and slowly giving up on a day-to-day workout routine. We may be passing more time at home, but we can always create ways to preserve a healthy routine! We’ve shared our top effective activities you can incorporate into your updated everyday routine to keep active, help your immune system, and create momentum toward attaining your wellness intentions.

Integrate Home Workouts

One benefit of spending additional time at home is the adaptability in your day-to-day schedule. Think about your day. Where can you make a few minutes for a quick workout? A useful exercise session doesn’t need to go on forever to be effective. As long as your heart rate escalates, you will receive fat and calorie-burning perks! Include Your Kids in Your Workout

The pools may be closed, but there are still tons of ways to create fun things your little ones will like. At the end of the day, staying active isn’t just for grownups! Here are a couple of our top fun (and free!) ways your family can spend time as a group:

  • Take a nice, long walk
  • Play frisbee outside in the sun (hello Vitamin D!)
  • Head out for a bike ride or roller skate expedition
  • Create a floral arrangement with your homegrown blossoms
